Who are “The butcher of Rostov”,” The angel of Death”, and “The vampire of Sacramento”?

It is difficult to believe that a person can just kill people without shame and also enjoy it, YES; I am talking about a serial killer

According to Robert Ressler from de FBI,” a serial killer is a person who murders three or more people over a period of more then 30 days , with a cooling off period between each murder, and whose motivation for killing is a largely based on psychological gratification , often sexual elements are involved with the killing”. As Robert Ressler said, a serial killer is related with psychological problems, and most of them they are described as psychopaths or sociopaths as having antisocial personality.

According to American Psychiatric Association (1994), the antisocial Personality is a pattern related with a failure to conform to social norms regarding lawful behavior, physical aggressiveness, impulsivity, lack of regard for the truth, manipulativeness, and most important lack of remorse or empathy.

The serial killers are just people like you, who had a family, friends, etc, but in one stage of their life, just they lost. Answering to the principal question, this article will talk about three serial killers.

Firstly, Andrei Romanovich Chikatilo better known as “The Butcher of Rostov”. He was a Sovietic serial killer; he was convicted of the murder of 53 woman and children, between 1978 and 1990. Chikatilo was really shy about females and his only sexual experience was when he was 17 with a 11-year-old girl, ejaculating as the girl struggled in his grasp.

In 1963, he got married and had a son and a daughter, He had a minimal marital sex life and he would ejaculate on his wife and push the semen inside her vagina with his fingers. Chikatilo was a teacher of Russian language and literature, but his career as a teacher ended after several complaints of sexual harassment.

Secondly, Beverly Gaid better known as “The angel of Death”, she is an English serial killer who murdered four children and injured nine others while working as State Enrolled Nurse. Her method of murder was to inject the child with potassium chloride and insulin, causing cardiac arrest and lethal hypoglycemia.

Beverly’s motives have never been fully explained. She showed symptoms of factitious disorder; also this disorder is described as involving a pattern of abuse in which a person physically falsifies illness on someone under care in order to attract attention. She was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1993 and is being held at Rampton Secure Hospital.

Finally, Richard Trenton better known as “The vampire of Sacramento”. He was an American serial killer who killed six people in a month in Sacramento, California .He was victim of abuse at the hands of his mother. Trenton showed by the age of ten, evidence of bedwetting, pyromania y zoo sadism.

In his adolescence, he was alcoholic and drug abuser, he suffered from erectile dysfunction, he developed hypochondria as he matured. On December 20, 1980 he was found lying awkwardly on his bed, not breathing, an autopsy determined that he was committed suicide with on overdose of prison.

As it was mentioned before, when we read about murders , we feel sacred about it , we also cannot imagine it, we start to think , what is in killer´s mind or what they feel , it is impossible to know it.

Just think for a moment, are the people surrounding me serial killers? OBSERVE THEM AND BE CAREFUL , BECAUSE A SERIAL KILLER IS JUST LIKE YOU OR LIKE ME.
